Easy Tracker is a food and workout tracker. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Information We Collect
We only collect what the app needs to work. All of it is tied to your account.
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique user identifier and, if you allow it, your email address. We use this to create and secure your account.
- Profile and goals. The details you enter during setup — sex, age, height, weight, activity level, and goal — and the daily calorie and macro targets we calculate from them. We use these to personalize your targets.
- Food and workout logs. The food entries, calories, macros, exercises, weights, reps, day labels, and dates you record. This is the core data the app exists to store for you.
- Meal photos (optional). If you use the photo feature, the photo is sent to our AI provider to estimate nutrition. We do not store the photo on our servers.
- AI text requests (optional). If you use the AI chat feature, the food text you type is sent to our AI provider to estimate nutrition.
- Barcodes (optional). If you scan a barcode, the barcode number is sent to third-party food databases to look up the product. Barcodes are not personal information.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the app — store your logs, show your history.
- Calculate and personalize your daily calorie and macro targets.
- Generate AI nutrition estimates from your text or meal photos.
- Look up products you scan by barcode.
- Keep your account secure.
Service Providers We Share With
We use the following processors to run the app. They handle data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — hosts our database and authentication. Your account, profile, and logs are stored here.
- Apple and Google — provide Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in.
- Google (Gemini API) — processes your AI text requests and meal photos to return a nutrition estimate.
- Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, and Spoonacular — receive the barcode you scan to return product nutrition. They receive only the barcode, not your identity.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all of your food, gym, and goal data from our database. The action cannot be undone.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with our hosting provider using access controls that restrict each user to their own data.
Children
Easy Tracker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will revise the effective date above when we do.
